Job Summary
Maintain 1-3 properties by plowing from 1 inch or more of snow from the start of a snow event through the end, including salting as needed. Operate late model Chevy 3500 pickups or Ram 5500 trucks equipped with Western Wideouts/Salter or V-Blade and salter systems. Serve as an on-call snow removal operator available at any hour between October 30 and the final storm of the season, with shifts ranging from 6 to over 12 hours. Complete assignments while working well with team members under high-pressure situations using smartphone dispatch and field software. Requires 3 years of commercial plow truck experience, ability to lift 50-60 pounds, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 3-years min. commercial experience using a plow truck or salter
- Able to work outdoors in freezing weather conditions
- Maintain good physical condition to be able to lift 50-60 pounds without assistance
- Valid and Clean driver's license with no restrictions (NO CDL required)
- Pass a company safety training course and drug test
- Ability to use smartphone for two-way communication, mobile dispatch, and our field software
- Work well under high-pressure situations
- Have transportation to reach the job location
Desired Qualifications
- Must be available and willing at any hour between October 30 and the last snowstorm of the season
- Shifts vary depending on the size of the storm, and can be anywhere from 6-hours, to more than 12-hours long
- Have the ability to work well with other team members to efficiently and safely complete each assignment
- Be punctual, reliable, and passionate about the Xtreme Snow Pros client commitment
