Job Summary
Conduct manufacturing, packaging, and general labor tasks along the production line while monitoring for foreign materials. Perform straightening and counting to specification, rotate through various positions as needed, and notify the supervisor of mechanical issues or abscesses. Maintain a safe, clean work area in compliance with GMP and safety policies, tolerating non-temperature controlled environments with icy or hot conditions. Work at a fast pace in a team environment, requiring bi-lingual Spanish and English skills, meat processing experience, and flexibility for overtime and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- bi-lingual in Spanish and English
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to tolerate a non-temperature controlled environment with icy/hot conditions
- Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Quality, safety-minded, reliable, precise, and self-motivated
- Able to complete Quality, Safety training
- Able to work at a fast pace, repetitive and work environment
- Ability to work in a team environment and a diverse workforce
- Good communication, math, read and writing skills
- Punctual and good attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in meat processing or food processing
- Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred
