Job Summary
PLM Operations Manager responsible for driving operating discipline, governance, and transparency across the PLM platform to enable product teams, sourcing, planning, and manufacturing to operate efficiently. Key duties include standardizing PLM operating rhythms and intake/delivery practices, enforcing data and process governance, translating needs into governed PLM capabilities, and delivering visible status through dashboards and Confluence. Responsibilities cover sprint planning, backlog hygiene via Jira, cross-team coordination, tracking vendor performance against SOWs/SLAs, managing budgets/forecasts, and maintaining communications. The role emphasizes AI-assisted tools to improve triage and reporting, AI-enabled status insights, and collaboration with PLM Data/Platform teams to ensure AI-ready, well-governed data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Management, Business, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile or Kanban delivery models
- Experience coordinating multiple concurrent initiatives across internal teams and external vendors
- Working knowledge of PLM, CAD, PDM, or engineering systems and related business processes
