Job Summary
PLM Associate will assist PD / Costing / Material teams by ensuring all required details are input into the PLM system and by preparing regular reports. Responsibilities include creating accurate material and component records, building SMS BOM and Production BOM, populating fields in PLM per business requirements, communicating with vendors and internal teams to obtain necessary data, validating PLM data with manager and suppliers, issuing carryover BOM for accuracy prior to release, and supporting KPI reporting. The role may involve training new and existing team members to use PLM, providing input on PLM updates, and adapting to new software as needed; ad-hoc duties assigned by the manager. EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE specify college-level exposure to jewelry/footwear/handbags; strong English and Mandarin, and proficiency with MS Office; overtime during peak seasons.
Required Qualifications
- College w/2 years in the areas of jewelry or footwear or handbag experience
- Knowledge of PLM system or related systems is a plus
- Good communication and good team player, honest and responsible
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word and Excel
- Willing to work under pressure and overtime for peak season
