Job Summary
Aggregate and edit content from the PLL and WLL libraries for vertical social media platforms, maintaining posting cadence across TikTok and Instagram with an emphasis on audience growth. Conceptualize and brainstorm creative vertical video ideas, identifying clip-worthy moments while adapting to ever-changing algorithms. Collaborate cross-functionally with the video production team and social media team to create compelling content that promotes league awareness. Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro, Opus AI, CapCut, and/or IG Edits to produce caption-optimized short-form videos. This role supports the PLL's vertical video channels as a contractor, with potential bonuses tied to view performance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience maintaining an active TikTok/Instagram account
- Demonstrated ability to identify 'clip-worthy' moments
- Clip and edit video optimized for vertical channels
- Follow and maintain posting cadence across channels
- Brainstorm creatively around vertical video concepts
- Proven ability to adapt to ever-changing algorithms
- Work cross-functionally with video production team and social team
- Understanding of caption/hooks for short-form video
- Ability to create, plan, and execute compelling ideas that will promote league awareness across vertical video channels
- Has access to and can edit with Adobe Premiere Pro, Opus AI, CapCut and/or IG Edits
- Well-versed in social media trends and internet culture
- Strong collaboration, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Proven ability to generate social media content
- Dependable turnaround and reliable delivery

Desired Qualifications
- Current students or recent graduates preferred
- knowledge of lacrosse is a plus
