PLC Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, interpret, modify, and program PLCs with a focus on Allen Bradley systems. Read and design PLC/electrical circuits, apply control logic and ladder logic for automation, and perform installation, upgrades, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems. Maintain thorough documentation, logs, and PM records; assist in procuring necessary parts and tools to complete work orders. Night shift role with a $1.00/hour night-shift premium. Prioritize equipment reliability and uptime through proactive maintenance while supporting a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree, technical certificate, or recent completion of a trade school program in Industrial Automation, electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field (preferred)
- Entry-level candidates or recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Experience with PLCs (Industrial automation), especially Allen Bradley (preferred)
- Familiarity with control logic, ladder logic, and reading electrical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting aptitude and willingness to learn
