Job Summary
As a PLC/SCADA Engineer specializing in dredging/marine systems, you will be responsible for designing and programming PLC and SCADA systems, developing applications for control systems, and drafting functional specifications. Key responsibilities include ensuring high system performance and reliability, configuring user interfaces, integrating PLC systems like Cimplicity SCADA, and conducting system testing and validation. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and 5-8 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in marine or shipbuilding.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- 5-8 years of proven experience as PLC/SCADA engineer
- Strong knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems
- Experience configuring networks
- Familiarity with marine automation systems
