Job Summary
PLC/Instrumentation Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems across brewery operations. Responsibilities include calibration, maintenance, and repair of process instruments (conductivity probes, turbidity sensors, DO sensors, density meters, pressure transmitters, level sensors, flow meters), PLC programming/troubleshooting (Allen Bradley PLCs, Modicon, RS Logix, Studio 5000), SCADA/HMI maintenance (Proleit, Wonderware preferred), electrical and mechanical systems (MCCs, 480V, VFDs from Danfoss/AB), network diagnostics of Ethernet-based systems, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. Requires High School Diploma or GED; experience in electrical troubleshooting in high-speed manufacturing; familiarity with tools and measurement equipment; strong communication skills; willingness to work various shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in electrical troubleshooting with high-speed manufacturing
- Knowledge of machining tools including lathes, mills, presses, and grinders
- Demonstrated skills in hydraulic/pneumatic systems, pumps, laser alignment, power transmission, precision measuring tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic MS Office tools
- Experience with PLCs and SCADA/HMI systems is essential or highly desirable
