Job Summary
Localization Team Manager, Localization Coordinator for PlayStation-related technical/business documents. Lead English→Japanese translation for a global team, manage a small translation team with progress tracking and task assignment, oversee translation outsourcing and internal reviews, negotiate with native English writers, and occasionally contribute to translation/QA tasks. Improve document quality and usability (site design/navigation/content layout). Responsibilities involve content for external developers/publishers creating/releasing games on the PS platform. Requires strong English proficiency (TOEIC ~800) or 2–3+ years in translation, plus desirable knowledge in software development, game planning/publishing, leadership experience, Japanese-writing-related work, AI-assisted translation or proofreading, and information architecture for websites. Required Qualifications
- TOEIC 800以上程度の英語力、もしくは翻訳関連業務の2-3年以上の経験
- 英語↔日本語のローカリゼーションを主とする翻訳チームのマネジメント経験
- 社内外の翻訳・ライティング関連のレビュー・交渉能力
- 翻訳原稿の品質・Usability向上の実務経験があること
