Job Summary
Supervise students on the playground and maintain safety and established guidelines. Responsibilities include punctual arrival and supervision during playground/cafeteria periods, awareness of emergency procedures and building protocol, adherence to Recess Rules, and performing additional duties to supervise the program. Knowledge/skills emphasize interpersonal relations, strong communication and organizational abilities, teamwork, crisis management, and the ability to work harmoniously with students, staff, parents, and administration. The role requires collaboration with the school community, commitment to inclusion and diversity, and ongoing professional development. Terms of employment are part-time with a 170-day schedule; salary starts at $16.59/hour and is commensurate with experience per the collective bargaining agreement.,
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED equivalent
