Job Summary
Provide administrative support for the Double Play Matching Gifts program, prepare presentation materials and briefing documents, and conduct research on players, nonprofits, and philanthropic trends. Enter and maintain CRM records, compile data analysis, and develop reports to track program effectiveness. Record meeting minutes, support internal and external communications, and manage merchandise and inventory. Accompany staff in select meetings across the MLB Players Association. This three-month internship reports to the Coordinator of Programs and includes three days of in-office work. Recent college graduates earn $20 per hour, while MBA candidates earn $30 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Current graduate student or recent college graduate
- Flexible, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent organizational, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to synthesize complex information and clearly communicate key findings and outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Location: In-Office (3 Days)
- Internship Length: 3 months
