Job Summary
Balance the till and bank daily by executing transactions such as chip redemption, slot vouchers, and cashing negotiable items. Enroll and service guests in the Player Rewards program while distributing monies via slot tickets and check cashing. Adhere to all departmental policies, maintain accountability for assigned assets and company funds, and verify daily drops for the Count Room. When serving as the Chip Banker, process chip transfers, receive table credits, and issue table fills to the pits. Protect bank assets by documenting and verifying the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing currency, coins, tokens, chips, and cash. Maintain strict confidentiality, complete necessary paperwork, and run reports to balance. Work the Grave shift from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced casino environment on the Cowlitz Reservation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)
- Basic computer input skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Must be capable of interacting with the public in a highly professional and positive manner
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and often crowded/noisy environment
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime, as needed
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment when on the casino floor
- Ability to lift 20 lbs
