Job Summary
Build strong relationships with assigned VIP guests by greeting them on the floor, accommodating their needs within program guidelines, and managing betting habits to ensure maximum profit margins. Monitor guest activity to make appropriate decisions regarding complimentary offerings and participate in call-center efforts to invite guests to special events or reactivate lapsed players. Maintain a direct database of VIP guests through personal, direct mail, and phone contact to drive return visits and fill events. Review department reports and use provided data to achieve assigned goals while adhering to gaming regulations and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, as a host or other casino position such as VIP services, Brand Ambassador marketing, players rewards, or casino operations
- Must be bilingual- English and French- Written and Spoken
- Must have a valid work permit or be a Canadian resident
- Ability to write reports and professional business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, VIP guests and all guests alike
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Must be flexible regarding schedule and be able to work varied shifts
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holiday
