Job Summary
Promote good childcare practice by planning and leading play and leisure activities for children aged 5 to 14 in a safe, inclusive environment. Supervise children throughout the day to ensure their safety and happiness while fostering social and educational welfare. Deliver quality out-of-school care at our Pentland After School Club site, supporting a team focused on nurturing children's well-being. This permanent part-time role (31.25 hours) includes breakfast and after-school shifts with flexible administration time. We offer free childcare in our clubs, professional development, and a career pathway for staff.
Required Qualifications
- A real passion to work with children and make a difference
- First Aid qualification or ability to achieve
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure Certificate or ability to achieve
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or ability to achieve
- Understanding of and commitment to safeguarding best-practice
