Job Summary
Monitor and maintain automatic plating lines, tanks, and filtration systems while performing chemical additions, pH testing, and solution formulation. Conduct daily checklists and documentation to ensure quality and consistency across Automotive, Appliance, Heavy Truck, and Medical industries. Interpret written and verbal instructions to oversee recovery systems and adhere to safety protocols in an industrial environment. Overtime is frequently required, including Saturday mornings, with shifts running Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work overtime, sometimes on short notice
- Strong ability to read and fill in checklists, correspondence, and procedure documentation
- Commitment to following all safety regulations and PPE requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment
- Must be flexible
- Must be available for Saturday mornings
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, & 3rd Shift
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of hazardous material handling and chemical solution maintenance
- Basic understanding of chemistry principles
- Experience with plating on plastics or metals preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
