Job Summary
Provide technical support to plating process engineering and production personnel in all areas of chemical processing. Duties include electro and immersion plating, loading/unloading to plating racks, reading processing instructions, maintaining process control documentation, and ensuring quality. Responsibilities cover troubleshooting production problems, performing preventive maintenance, supporting continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, value stream improvements), conducting experiments under guidance, training production staff on equipment and processes, writing and maintaining procedures, and assisting with cost reduction and ensuring compliance with safety, ISO, and OSHA programs. Qualifications include an Associate degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical/chemical/material science or Electro-mechanical engineering, or 3+ years plating experience; 1-3 years in electronics/microelectronics/PCB/plating industries; strong communication, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and proficiency with Windows software. Must be able to work in Canton, MA, in-person.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree - Electrical, Mechanical (chemical or material science) or Electro-mechanical engineering; Or equivalent technical or trade school; Or in lieu of education, 3 plus years of experience in a plating position.
