Job Summary
Platform Transformation Program Manager for Merchant Services (Vice President) focused on defining the Platform Development Life Cycle, driving cross-functional program structure, and enabling delivery of core banking and payments capabilities. You will drive data quality across deliverables (Jira, reporting), connect multiple strategic initiatives, own status updates and agile metrics, and publish performance monitoring scorecards. You will lead PDLC processes, collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, voice of customer, commercialization, and operations, and present lifecycle updates to senior leadership. The role emphasizes operating-model design, pre-launch readiness (e.g., Intake Process Approval), and post-launch optimization to maximize client value and lifecycle revenue.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of optimization management and/or business management experience in the financial services sector, with a dual focus on strategy and execution
- Proficiency with project tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, RAID logs, and status templates; Demonstrated process improvement experience
- Experience beyond project management of individual efforts—it is a large-scale process optimization effort
- Excellent communicator with strong executive presence and the ability to deliver clear and concise senior leadership presentations
- Creative innovator with ability to define business tradeoffs and provide out-of-the-box solutions
- Effective collaborator and engaging communicator to align cross-functional stakeholders
- Self-driven and organized with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple concurrent initiatives
- Rigorous, structured thinker with ability to articulate rationale, assumptions, risks, and solutions
- Relationship-building skills with ability to establish trust across lines of business and functions
- Willingness to work across multiple teams and time zones, based on location of tech teams and product engineering
