Job Summary
Platform Product Manager to lead end-to-end ownership of Accounts Payable automation within Zone's ERP-native AI platform. Define the Data to Insight journey, write PRDs, acceptance criteria, and groom backlogs while collaborating with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success. Conduct deep customer discovery with AP clerks, Controllers, and CFOs; influence cross-functional pods; leverage product analytics and usage data to inform iterations; contribute to GTM enablement, beta programs, and market alignment. Ideal candidate applies AI/ML and automation to modernize finance workflows, communicates effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, and operates as a senior IC delivering high-impact outcomes in a fully remote, global setting.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS, FinTech, or enterprise software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience delivering complex, high-impact products from concept to launch
- Strong understanding of finance operations, especially Accounts Payable, financial controls, or reporting
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and how financial data flows through them
- Comfort operating as a senior Individual Contributor, owning roadmap and driving execution independently
- Experience or strong interest in applying AI/ML and automation to real-world business problems
- Ability to engage with engineering on technical concepts like APIs, system architecture, and data models
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Fully remote, global team environment
