Job Summary
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify unmet needs and define the product vision for the iCivics platform. Translate user requirements into clear product specs, prioritize the backlog, and collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to build features. Articulate go-to-market strategies, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous iteration based on feedback. This role serves as the central hub connecting customer needs with organizational objectives within the Product team.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience
- Meaningful time in edtech or another mission-driven, learning-focused industry
- Demonstrated success owning a platform product at scale
- Experience building or shipping AI-powered product features
- Thoughtful point of view on responsible AI use in sensitive contexts like education
- Track record of translating ambiguous, cross-functional inputs into clear roadmaps and requirements
- Comfort operating as a hub role influencing engineering, design, marketing, and data science teams without direct authority
- Experience partnering with data science/analytics to define KPIs and drive post-launch iteration
