Job Summary
Platform Operations Manager to lead the recruitment of senior engineers in Spain, serve as the subject-matter expert for Linux platforms, Ceph storage, and OpenStack, and ensure stability during migrations. You will design on-call policies, operational workflows, and Infrastructure as Code automation standards, while acting as a 'player-coach' with 2+ years of leadership experience and a strong technical foundation in Linux, Ceph, and OpenStack. The role requires hands-on cloud/storage expertise, automation skills (Ansible/Puppet/Terraform), and a track record of transforming chaos into scalable, well-documented systems within a hybrid office setup across multiple Spanish cities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of real-world experience in large-scale Linux systems administration
- Essential hands-on experience with Ceph and OpenStack
- Proficiency in Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform
- 2+ years managing technical teams
