Platform Operations Developer

Job Summary
Manage and operate cloud-native infrastructure across multiple environments while supporting core platform services including networking, identity, monitoring, and storage. Apply system administration skills to troubleshoot, patch, and optimize workloads, and design automation to reduce manual effort using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools. Collaborate with developers, security, and operations teams to enable smooth deployments and contribute to incident response and root cause analysis for continuous uptime improvement. Implement compliance, governance, and best practices for secure, resilient infrastructure while leveraging cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong background in Linux and/or Windows administration
- Proficiency with automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and security best practices
- Experience in monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Grafana)
- A mindset of continuous improvement, learning, and collaboration
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI, SOC 2)
- Familiarity with service meshes, secrets management, or zero-trust networking
- Experience with hybrid cloud or legacy-to-cloud migration
