Job Summary
Platform Engineer focusing on Cloud Ops for the Wealth Team, ensuring availability and reliability of the managed hosting service, and keeping operations compliant, secure, and cost-effective. Responsibilities include on-call participation, troubleshooting infrastructure issues to maintain resilience and scalability, and driving operational efficiency and cloud cost control. Requires 5+ years in system engineering with at least 3 years using Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Istio, ArgoCD, and GitHub/GHA; proficiency with these tools; automation-first mindset; and ability to design and implement scalable, highly-available cloud infrastructure. Desirable: monitoring and observability experience with Grafana stack and OpenTelemetry; knowledge of cloud-native technologies and desired state configuration; Python knowledge is a plus; strong English communication for collaboration with international teams.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in system engineering, including at least 3 years of working with Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Istio, ArgoCD, and GitHub/GHA.
- Proficiency with Helm Charts, Kubernetes, Istio, ArgoCD, and GitHub/GHA.
- Strong communication skills enabling driving initiatives inside and outside the team.
- Automation-first mindset to automate processes and reduce manual work.
- Knowledge of designing and implementing scalable, highly-available cloud infrastructure.
- Mentorship skills and ability to guide peers with hands-on guidance and collaborative problem solving.
- Good English communication skills for collaboration with international teams.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Monitoring and Observability, particularly Grafana stack and OpenTelemetry (OTEL) is desirable.
- Knowledge of Python stack is a plus.
