Job Summary
Configure, maintain, and support enterprise job scheduling and workload automation solutions, including Control-M or comparable tools. Partner with application development and Software Integration teams to onboard, validate, and deploy scheduled workloads into non-production and production environments. Review job definitions, workflows, dependencies, calendars, and triggers to ensure compliance with established standards. Execute workload promotion and migration activities while monitoring batch processing to identify and analyze job failures. Collaborate with application teams to diagnose scheduling-related issues and serve as a subject matter resource on operational standards. Document support procedures and participate in production support activities and deployment events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise scheduling, workload automation, production operations, application support, or a related IT operations function
- Understanding of job scheduling concepts, workflow orchestration, batch processing, job dependencies, triggers, calendars, and execution monitoring
- Experience supporting production applications and operational processes in a large enterprise environment
- Ability to investigate and analyze workload failures and coordinate resolution with technical support and development teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and operational processes
- Experience documenting procedures, standards, and support processes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Control-M
- Experience with comparable workload automation or scheduling tools such as Autosys, Tidal, Redwood, Stonebranch, UC4/Automic, Dollar Universe, or similar technologies
- Familiarity with IT operations, incident management, change management, or production support practices
