Job Summary
Platform Engineer to implement and maintain secure DevSecOps platform infrastructure supporting mission-critical government systems; build automated, secure CI/CD pipelines; manage IaC with Terraform, ARM/Bicep across Azure; ensure RMF/DIACAP compliance; collaborate with platform, development, security, and cloud operations teams; must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance. The role involves automating deployment, monitoring, and security controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle in a cloud-native environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and architecture; AWS experience is a plus
- Working proficiency with Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, or similar IaC tools
- Experience implementing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines with security controls
- Practical experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms; AKS exposure preferred
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices, RMF/DIACAP processes, and DoD/USAF security requirements
- Experience automating infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and operational processes
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation tasks
- Strong Git experience with understanding of branching strategies and workflows
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar monitoring platforms
- Knowledge of container security practices and vulnerability management
- Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
