Job Summary
Lead Platform Engineer role focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC for IIoT-focused software artifacts. Responsibilities include driving DevOps practices within agile teams, building and securing scalable Kubernetes-based containerized apps, developing automation scripts, implementing GitOps (ArgoCD), and guiding deployment strategies, monitoring, and cost efficiency. Requires extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, GitLab CI/CD, and strong scripting and documentation skills. The role emphasizes collaboration with development teams, SRE, and platform engineering, and mentoring team members on DevOps practices.
Required Qualifications
- Min. 10 years extensive experience in software development, DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure
- Programming skills in C#, TypeScript and optionally Python
- Expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Hands-on experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD)
- Proficient with CI/CD tools (GitLab)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Documentation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
