Job Summary
Work with multiple Kubernetes CNIs utilizing underlying systems built on both eBPF and Iptables. Develop and secure new services for infrastructure using Docker, Typescript, and Golang while deploying monitoring solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and the Elastic Stack. Debug containerized micro-services in Kubernetes and Linux environments using GDB, network suites, and Wireshark. Research emerging Kubernetes technologies to provide technical feedback and evaluate system stacks. Integrate engineering implementation details into current systems and provide general Kubernetes day-to-day support to users. Identify and resolve security, efficiency, cost, and process deficiencies in the technology stack.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Two (2) years of experience developing and securing new services for the infrastructure using Docker, Typescript and Golang
- Experience developing and deploying the needed infrastructure to monitor specialized micro-services using Prometheus/Grafana, Elastic Stack and eBPF programs (Cilium)
- Ability to debug containerized micro-services, running in Kubernetes, in a Linux environment
- Ability to provide technical support for debugging and testing the new code using GDB, linux network suite, and wireshark
- Ability to research emerging Kubernetes technologies to provide technical feedback and evaluation versus current system stack
- Ability to engineer implementation details for new systems by integrating into current systems stacks
- Ability to provide general Kubernetes day-to-day support to users of company technology stack
- Ability to identify and resolve security, efficiency, cost, and process deficiencies in the current technology stack
