Job Summary
Platform Engineer role with hybrid work model focused on building and maintaining scalable, secure platform services. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining secure, highly available container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes and ECS), developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, building monitoring and observability tooling for failure detection and recovery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale production systems, providing documentation and architectural planning, and engineering AI-enabled infrastructure and tooling (LangChain, AutoGen, AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude) to automate complex workflows on Kubernetes. Requires Python and/or Golang, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS experience, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), and a solid understanding of networking and IAM. Hybrid work model and global collaboration with Product Engineering, Development, and Management teams. Salary ranges from $83,000 to $102,000 annually. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Platform Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in Python and/or Golang
- Experience managing and administering Linux systems
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, Dynamo DB, Route53, Elastic Load Balancers, AMIs, IAM Roles, Ops Works, and Cloud Formation)
- Knowledge of or experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with infrastructure as code concepts such as immutable and scalable infrastructure
- Solid understanding of networking systems as well as identity and authorization mechanisms
- Experience with using AI coding tools (GitHub, Copilot, Claude) to help Platform Engineering workflows
- Understanding of Agentic AI and MCP Servers
