Job Summary
Operate and improve AWS infrastructure across multiple environments, including networking, compute, storage, databases, and security. Develop and maintain Terraform codebases for provisioning and lifecycle management, while administering EKS clusters and managing relational database services for performance and disaster recovery. Maintain observability infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch, and participate in on-call rotations to drive root-cause analysis and plan failure response scenarios. Collaborate with development teams on service onboarding and automate operational tasks through scripting and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS services — not just theory, actual operational work
- Working proficiency with Terraform for managing real infrastructure at scale
- Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production
- Comfortable with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred): administration, performance analysis, backup/recovery
- Knowledge of the complete stack: networking, security, operating systems, web services, databases
- Scripting ability (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation and tooling
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fully remote, cross-functional team
- Capable of working very independently and in a self-regulated manner
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with monitoring/observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
- Exposure to WAF, VPN, or network security operations
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar)
- Knowledge of GitOps workflows or Helm-based deployments
- Experience in high-volume integration platforms
