Job Summary
Platform Engineer on the Mercury Runtime Platform responsible for building and operating a cloud-native, multi-cluster Kubernetes platform. Design and automate GitOps deployment pipelines with ArgoCD and Kargo, extend platform capabilities with Crossplane and custom APIs, and implement progressive delivery with Istio and policy enforcement with Kyverno. Collaborate with development teams to provide platform expertise, leverage AI assistants to accelerate workflows, and perform SRE tasks to keep environments stable, secure, and observable. Strong Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure experience, with skills in GitOps tooling, IaC, monitoring, and programming (Go, Python, or Java).
