Job Summary
Platform Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable AI/ML platforms on AWS. Primary responsibilities include managing AWS services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Bedrock Agent Core, Amazon Q Developer, Kiro; EMR; Athena), developing and maintaining MLOps pipelines for model training, validation, and deployment; implementing Bedrock capabilities including Guardrails and Knowledge Bases; deploying AI agent infrastructure (Bedrock Agent Core) for enterprise-scale deployments; configuring cross-account integrations (Snowflake); optimizing cloud infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins); administering networking and security (VPC, subnets, IAM, SGs, EC2, ECS, S3, ELB, Lambda, Glue, Athena, EMR, ADX); ensuring reliability, performance, and secure data access; deploying SageMaker models, automating provisioning for resources (KMS keys, S3, etc.), and enabling centralized logging/monitoring (CloudWatch to Splunk) and governance/compliance; collaborating with governance and risk teams to ensure model approval and secure data governance across accounts. The role requires collaboration across teams, staying current in the specialist area, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
