Job Summary
Design, build, and evolve cloud-native platforms supporting enterprise applications while developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and Infrastructure as Code. Improve developer experience by creating internal tooling and self-service capabilities, then collaborate closely with software engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle. Use AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate infrastructure provisioning, generate code, and automate repetitive tasks. Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence by participating in troubleshooting complex production incidents and root cause analysis. Mentor junior engineers and share engineering best practices while contributing to the evolution of the technology stack and standards.
Required Qualifications
- DevOps mindset
- Passion for improving software delivery, automation and developer experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (or similar role)
- Previous background in software development
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins or equivalent solutions
- Hands-on experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
- Cloud certifications are considered a plus
- Confidence provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools
- Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including production deployments and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of at least one backend technology stack, choosing between Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) or Java (Spring Boot or equivalent)
- Comfort reading, debugging and contributing to backend services when needed
- Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini or similar)
- Knowledge of how to use AI coding assistants to accelerate infrastructure provisioning, generate Infrastructure as Code, support software development, troubleshoot production issues, and automate repetitive engineering tasks
- Enjoyment of troubleshooting distributed systems and identifying root causes across applications, infrastructure and networking
- Strong knowledge of Linux-based environments
- Proficiency in written English
- Comfort communicating in spoken English
