Job Summary
Administer and configure Azure Synapse Analytics workspaces, Azure Databricks, and Confluent Cloud while developing repeatable infrastructure-as-code automation via Terraform. Serve as the primary point of contact for Azure-based solution delivery, maintaining infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. Drive adoption of DevSecOps paradigms by building scalable IT solutions on-premise and in the cloud, monitoring system performance, and optimizing data storage and retrieval processes. Troubleshoot technical challenges, maintain comprehensive documentation, and cross-train team members on secure Azure implementation standards.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth Azure expertise
- Strong understanding of Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Confluent Cloud, Delta Lakes, Storage Access, and related technologies
- Experience with SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirement in enterprise cloud environment
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- A demonstrated background in process improvement, automation, and support in a highly regulated, enterprise environment
- 2+ years in architecture and/or cloud-native roles
- Background working with and developing Infrastructure-as-code for cloud services, specifically using Terraform
- Experience with DevSecOps paradigms (i.e., CI/CD, automated deployments, Kubernetes, containerization, etc...)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
