Job Summary
Platform Engineer needed to grow a mature cloud platform on GCP powering a consumer lending platform. Own end-to-end platform problems, enable safe AI adoption, support API overhauls, governance of customer auth, platform operations, and cost visibility. Responsibilities include sustaining scalability and security, driving cost efficiency, improving developer experience and deployment pipelines, strengthening incident and alert management, upholding IAM and audit/change controls, and contributing to engineering standards and runbooks. Requirements include 3+ years in platform/DevOps/SRE, strong GCP and Kubernetes experience, IaC with Terraform, GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Helm), observability tooling (Grafana/Prometheus/Loki), cost optimization, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and an AI-ready mindset. Desirable familiarity with SOC2/ISO compliance and working in regulated environments. Location in Pasig City, Philippines with global offices and work-from-home options.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in platform / DevOps / SRE / cloud infrastructure engineering
- Hands-on experience with GCP (preferred) and Kubernetes (GKE or equivalent)
- Experience maintaining and upgrading live platforms (version upgrades, capacity tuning, incident response)
- Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments (SOC2/ISO) is a strong advantage
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform expertise
- Kubernetes & GitOps: GKE, Helm, ArgoCD, IAM, networking, Cloud SQL, Secret Manager
- Observability & incident management: Grafana, Prometheus, Loki
- Cost & performance optimization: identify savings and optimize workloads
- CI/CD & automation: Git-based workflows, GitHub Actions, scripting (Bash/Python/Go)
- AI-readiness mindset: interest or experience in AI observability, cost management, and AI-enabled operations
- Strong communication and collaboration within a SOC2-conscious environment
- ADR/runbooks/standards contributions
