Job Summary
Set up and maintain environments while collaborating with developers to resolve issues and execute modernization tasks. Debug low-level problems, work with documentation, and improve existing processes. Automate repeatable tasks with scripts and participate in rotated on-call activities. This role requires proficiency in Linux, Bash scripting, and configuration management tools like Puppet or Ansible, alongside strong networking knowledge and containerization experience. The position involves hybrid work across Warsaw, Lublin, and Poznań, with a focus on high availability systems and comprehensive documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems
- Strong scripting skills with Bash
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and BGP
- Experience with containerization and bare metal servers, including tools like Tomcat and Nginx
- Expertise in high availability systems, including HAProxy and IPVS
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with and create comprehensive documentation
- Fluent communication skills in English and Polish (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken
- On call duty
Desired Qualifications
- RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) certifications
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certifications
- LPIC-2 (Linux Professional Institute Certification) certifications
- Proficiency in Perl or Python scripting languages
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Familiarity with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for logs and traces
- Experience with GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment
- Knowledge of alerting and monitoring tools like Alertmanager and Check_MK
- Experience with databases such as MariaDB and Redis
