Job Summary
Serve as the primary owner and administrator of the organization's Microsoft Azure environment, ensuring platform stability, performance, and security. Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage, backup, recovery, and platform services. Manage Azure governance, monitor cloud infrastructure health, and implement security controls in partnership with cybersecurity teams. Lead cloud architecture modernization initiatives and participate in infrastructure lifecycle management activities. Troubleshoot complex incidents and participate in on-call support, including after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage. Work closely with outside vendors for managed services and interact with all business facets to translate functional requirements into actionable IT deliverables. Some travel to facilities in Arkansas and Nevada is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or like program or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or systems engineering environments
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft Azure in a production environment
- Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/VPN/Load Balancing experience
- Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with users of differing technical knowledge to translate business requirements and information
- Some travel to other facilities in Arkansas and Nevada is required
- After-hours, weekend and holiday support are sometimes required
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified in Azure Administration, Solution Architecture, Security Engineering
- Experience in HA manufacturing environments
- Experience with Cisco UCS, VMWare, ESXi, Pure Storage
- Experience with AWS Cloud Solution Architecture
