Job Summary
Platform Architect for ServiceNow responsible for defining overall architecture, strategy, and scalability of the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise. Lead platform roadmap, upgrade strategy, security/compliance alignment, performance optimization, and instance management while mentoring architects/developers. Serve as strategic advisor to IT leadership; ensure platform stability, security, and ability to support evolving business needs. Define architectural standards, review designs, approve integrations, manage technical debt, and govern deployment (dev/test/prod). Own integrations with Azure, monitoring tools, and security tools; define API governance and enterprise integration patterns. Drive process standardization and automation across IT services/help desk workflows, HR case management, policy/risk workflows; measure business value and ROI. Evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities (AI, Predictive intelligence) and drive adoption roadmaps. Require deep ServiceNow architectural knowledge, certifications, and strong stakeholder management at senior levels. Willingness to work flexibly with regard to where/when you work.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Technical Architect
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting and integration methods (REST, SOAP, MID server)
- Strong Data Model understanding
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with HRIS (Workday) or ERM systems
- Exposure to organizational change management and adoption strategies
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Prior experience in managing platform roadmap, vendor engagement and COE governance
- Experience with platform upgrades, security alignment, and governance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at Sr leadership levels
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem solving skills
- Experienced with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Certified System Administrator (ServiceNow)
- Platform strategy and governance skills
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM and related modules
- Automation and AI capabilities in ServiceNow
- Performance monitoring and capacity planning
- API governance and integration patterns
- Security and compliance alignment
