Job Summary
Conduct daily digital asset and fiat reconciliations across corporate, custodial, and trading platforms, including spot, margin, futures, and staking products. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for month-end close to ensure accurate financial reporting. Research and correct discrepancies while communicating findings to stakeholders, and support financial and regulatory audits. Independently manage reconciliation processes to improve efficiency and identify trends, while documenting procedures for proper controls. Provide complete, accurate, and timely support for internal and external audit requests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or closely related field
- 2+ years of accounting/audit experience from the Big 4 or national accounting firms
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with SOX
- Collaborative, innovative, flexible, and adept at building relationships across the organization
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Microsoft Excel proficiency including pivot tables, H & V-Lookup
- This is a remote role that requires you live and work within US timezones (Pacific to Eastern)
Desired Qualifications
- CPA in good standing
- Industry experience in crypto, financial services, fintech, broker-dealer, banking, or exchange
- Experience or knowledge of cryptocurrency
- Experience and knowledge of SQL
- Experience with high volume transactions
- Experience using Netsuite
