Job Summary
Pull envelopes and file flexographic printing plates to match work orders, ensuring press operators have correct tooling and defect-free cylinders before mounting. File and clean plates daily, verify proper cylinder tooth size and undercut, and check plates for defects to request replacements as needed. Mount the correct quantity of plates based on listed colors and guidelines while maintaining work center equipment and performing preventive maintenance. Report equipment problems immediately, fill out work orders, and seek process improvements through communication with other departments. This 3rd shift role (10:45pm–7:15am) requires organized attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years manufacturing or fast-paced environment experience, preferably in the print industry
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Be available to work 12 hour shifts and weekends as needed
