Job Summary
Troubleshoot molding machines, develop new processes, and increase output by establishing optimal processing parameters. Operate auxiliary equipment, perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance, and assist in equipment setup and repair. Drive process improvements to reduce cycle time, scrap, and downtime while ensuring safety and GMP compliance. Participate in teams to achieve operational goals and assist in physical inventories. Requires two years of plastics molding experience and ability to work the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am.
Required Qualifications
- Functional knowledge of injection and blow molding machines
- Experience with the installation and setup of tools into molding machines
- Ability to problem solve machine systems and auxiliary equipment
- Required minimum 2 years experience in plastics molding industry
- Ability to work in a loud, manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work extended shifts and weekends as necessary
- Familiar with GMP and ISO guidelines
- Must have good work and attendance record
