Plastics Mold Technician - 7pm-7am

Read production schedules and perform initial setup on molding machines, including resin changes and mold insert/tag changes. Start machines by setting controls per design configuration and process sheets, then execute the first good part procedure. Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to detect malfunctions, perform minor repairs, or contact a supervisor. Keep tooling, machine areas, and work stations clean and organized while recording data on process and set-up sheets. Stop equipment to clear jams, isolate non-conforming parts, and issue hold tickets. Train new machine operators and ensure compliance with OSHA safety procedures. Relieve personnel for breaks as required.
