Job Summary
Responsible for the execution of product and process improvement projects, product quality resolution, product scale-up, process troubleshooting, new equipment installation/testing, development and implementation of innovative product designs, materials, systems, and processes, as well as process validation. Provides day-to-day engineering support to molding, blow molding, QC, automation and tooling; supports long-term manufacturing and quality initiatives; documents specifications; contributes to product design and requirements; designs components; specifies and installs equipment; collaborates with production, maintenance, and other engineering groups; demonstrates project management and cross-functional coordination; transfers new technology; coordinates new product introduction with R&D, Total Solutions Management, and Supply Chain in GOJO facilities or contract manufacturers; adheres to procedures; participates or leads line trials; maintains documentation; collaborates across enterprise for optimum results; travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS preferred in Mechanical, Packaging or Plastics Engineering; in lieu of degree, ten years’ relevant work experience; minimum three years’ relevant work experience; experience with Creo or SOLIDWORKS strongly desired
