Job Summary
Full-time Plastic Surgeon at Assistant or Associate Professor level, expanding clinical, educational, and research programs. Responsibilities include microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial and hand surgery, general reconstruction and microsurgery, and taking independent hand and face trauma call. Opportunities to provide breast reconstruction at a nearby affiliate hospital, expand transgender care and aesthetic practice, and deliver clinical care at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center. Academic environment with residency program and emphasis on clinical care, teaching, and research; competitive base salary with incentive bonus, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, PTO, retirement plan, CME support, and malpractice coverage.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency
- Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent recognized by ABPS
- Eligible for New York State medical licensure
- Demonstrated clinical competence and skill in clinical and didactic teaching
