Job Summary
Provide inpatient and outpatient plastic and reconstructive surgery services at Valleywise Health Medical Center (VHMC) as part of the DMG division, sharing call coverage and contributing to teaching residents. Ideal candidate will be board certified or eligible in Plastic Surgery with expertise in Maxillofacial Trauma and Microvascular surgery, comfortable working within an academic environment, and able to participate in collaborative research to refine and extend plastic surgery services.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Plastic Surgery residency training
- Board certification or eligibility in Plastic Surgery
- Expertise with Maxillofacial Trauma and Microvascular surgery
- Comfortable managing full range of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery patients
- Experience in academic environment preferred
- Ability to teach residents and participate in collaborative research
