Job Summary
Join the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery division at Valleywise Health Medical Center (VHMC) in the Phoenix area as part of a four-surgeon team. Provide inpatient and outpatient general plastic and reconstructive surgery services in elective and emergent settings, share call coverage, and participate in teaching residents. Expertise with Maxillofacial Trauma and Microvascular surgery is required. The successful candidate should be board certified or board eligible, comfortable working in an academic environment, and capable of contributing to collaborative research initiatives and the ongoing refinement of plastic surgery services.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Plastic Surgery residency training
- Board certified or board eligible in Plastic Surgery
- Expertise with Maxillofacial Trauma and Microvascular surgery
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient general plastic and reconstructive surgery
- Comfortable with teaching residents
- Willingness to participate in collaborative research
