Job Summary
Join DMG's division of plastic and reconstructive surgery as a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at Valleywise Health Medical Center (VHMC) in Phoenix, AZ. The role provides inpatient and outpatient general plastic and reconstructive surgery services in elective and emergent settings, shares call coverage, and involves teaching residents. The candidate should be comfortable with a team-based approach, collaboration on research, and refining existing plastic surgery services; expertise with Maxillofacial Trauma and Microvascular surgery is required.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Plastic Surgery residency training
- Board certification or board eligibility
- Experience with Maxillofacial Trauma and Microvascular surgery
- Comfortable managing full range of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery patients
- Willingness to participate in collaborative research activities
- Faculty experience preferred
- Ability to teach residents and participate in academic environment
