Job Summary
Collaborate with engineering on new mold designs and establish documented injection molding processes for new tools. Conduct mold trials, sampling, and pilot runs while identifying scientific molding opportunities to reduce labor costs through automation recommendations. Maintain machine specifications data and lead training on client molding applications using the skill set training matrix. Evaluate supervisors with production and plant managers based on the client's training matrix. Requires own tools, knowledge of mold storage and handling, and ability to use micrometers and calipers. Must lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Full-time onsite position in Hartville, OH with a salary of $65,000-$75,000.
Required Qualifications
- Own tools
- Knowledge of mold storage, handling, and injection molding equipment
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other inspection devices
- Commitment to safety and use of all safety precautions
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Experienced in setup and formal processing training
- Understanding and demonstration of safety requirements for molds and equipment
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting
