Job Summary
Fabricate and assemble complex components to customer and engineering specifications by reading blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Perform plastic welding, bonding, cutting, routing, and finishing operations while utilizing precision measuring equipment to ensure quality standards. Troubleshoot fabrication issues, assist with prototype builds, and mentor less experienced fabricators. Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely in a clean environment. This full-time role in Tigard, OR, offers competitive pay from $25-$36/hr for an experienced Fabricator III with 3+ years in plastic fabrication.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of fabrication experience
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Experience with plastic welding and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of fabrication tools and measuring equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 3+ years plastic fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Reliable transportation
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PVC, CPVC, HDPE, Acrylic, Polycarbonate, PTFE, PEEK, or similar materials
- Experience with socket fusion and butt welding
- ISO manufacturing experience
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience
- Experience with prototype and custom fabrication work
