Job Summary
Fabricate plastic components by cutting, bending, and welding materials such as PVC, polypropylene, PVDF, and Teflon to create parts for equipment. Responsibilities include reading and executing blueprints with design engineers, performing hot air welding, and using hands-on tools (drills, routers, tape measures, table saws) at an on-site facility. Must be able to travel domestically occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid background in welding PVC, polypropylene, and Teflon
- Proficiency in hot air welding techniques
- A robust mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and execute blueprints in collaboration with design engineers
- Hands-on experience with drills, routers, tape measures, and table saws
- Willingness to travel domestically on occasion
