Job Summary
Operate plastic extrusion machines to produce hoses, deck drains, and custom fabrications while maintaining scheduled production rates and quality standards. Execute daily shop procedures including clocking in/out, material transfers, inventory checks, and completing production data sheets with accuracy. Perform quality control checks on parts and read technical documents to ensure compliance with safety policies and standard operating procedures. Obtain forklift certification and model all safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment. Work the 3rd shift from 11:45 PM to 8:00 AM at Cardinal Systems Inc., a family-owned manufacturer of galvanized steel pool walls and custom fabrications.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Will be required to climb, lift, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently
- Ability to work at a steady and consistent pace
- 3rd Shift 11:45 PM - 8:00 AM (Sunday - Thursday)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience operating a forklift preferred/ the ability to obtain certification
