Job Summary
Conduct responsive plastering repairs in void social housing properties, including patch repairs for leaks, electrical work, or other trades. Prepare surfaces and apply plaster, bonding, boarding, rendering, and skimming to walls and ceilings. Make good around door frames, windows, sockets, and pipework while maintaining a clean and respectful environment in residents' homes. Record job details, materials used, and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company standards. Work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with a company van and fuel card provided.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in domestic repairs and maintenance in a plasterer position
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills, with experience working in void homes
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices
- Ability to use handheld devices or job management systems to record work
- Entitlement to work within the UK
- Age over 21
- Held licence over 3 months
- Less than 9 points on licence
